Raju Vegesna
President and CEO, Founder

Raju Vegesna is President/CEO and a founding member of ServerEngines LLC. Raju has proven over the years to be a gifted entrepreneur having founded multiple, highly successful startup companies. ServerEngines, his current venture, is developing technologies for next generation enterprise computing. Prior to ServerEngines, he held the same titles and founded ServerWorks, which was acquired by Broadcom Corporation in 2001 for $1.8 billion. ServerWorks specialized in developing server computer chipsets sold to major OEMs such as HP, IBM, Dell, Fujitsu-Siemens and NEC. The company sold over 15 million chips per year while achieving over $300 million per year with just over 100 people, and was able to realize over 90% market share for server chipsets. Prior to ServerWorks, he was a founding member of ROSS Technology and held a Chief Architect position. ROSS became a successful public company in 1995. ROSS technology focused on SPARC microprocessors and multiprocessor solutions. Prior to ROSS, he was a key designer in the development of 68K microprocessors at Motorola.

Raju received a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Bangalore University. He also received a Master of Science degree in Computer Engineering from Wayne State University. Raju holds several patents on Microprocessor and Multiprocessor technology.

William B. Ott
Chief Operating Officer

Bill joined ServerEngines, LLC in 2006 as the COO with over 35 years of experience in the electronics industry. Prior to joining ServerEngines, Bill worked for IBM for over 30 years. From 1976 through 1985, he held various development positions in hardware and software design, including work on the original IBM PC and PC Network. In 1985, Bill accepted a position in IBM management. From 1985 to 1993, he held various management positions, responsible for a range of products and services from chip development to server development. In 1993, Bill accepted an international assignment as Manager of Fulfillment in Asia Pacific, stationed in Sidney, Australia. On his return in 1994, he joined PC Server development as a line manager. A position Bill retired from in 2006 as Vice President, eServer xSeries and IntelliStation Development, having had responsibility for developing IBM's entire range of industry standard architecture Servers and Workstations, including BladeCenter, IBM's first Blade offering.

Bill received a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics from Florida Atlantic University. He holds several patents in Subsystem and System Architecture.

Sujith Arramreddy
Chief Technology Officer, Founder

Sujith is a founding member of ServerEngines and is responsible for ServerEngines' technology direction. He has over 15 years experience in system, chip, firmware and software design. Prior to ServerEngines, Sujith performed in a similar capacity at ServerWorks where he also was a founding member and the company's CTO. Prior to joining ServerWorks, Sujith worked at Olivetti's Advance Technology Center, where he played a lead role in the design and development of IA-based multiprocessor servers.

Sujith received a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University in Hyderabad, India. He also received a Master of Science degree in Computer Engineering from Wayne State University.

Jay Avula
Vice President of Technology, Founder

Jay Avula is a founding member and VP of Technology at ServerEngines. Jay leads the team responsible for all silicon technologies from chip implementation to volume production as well as system level interface design. Jay has over 20 years experience in VLSI design with more than 20 chip designs. His design expertise encompasses Analog circuit design, DSP and Processor design. Prior to ServerEngines, Jay in a similar capacity directed the development of industry standard and proprietary high speed interfaces for several generations of the ServerWorks chipsets for Intel Processor based systems. Before joining ServerWorks, Jay led the chip design of VLIW processor at Equator Technologies, a Multimedia DSP company. Before that Jay held various engineering and management roles at ROSS Technology and Advanced Micro Devices.

Jay holds a BSEE from Regional Eng. College in Warangal, India and an MSEE at Wayne State University in Detroit, MI.

Sai Gadiraju
Vice President of Engineering, Founder

Sai Gadiraju, a ServerEngines founder who serves as our Vice President of Engineering, worked on image processing products at JVC before co-founding ServerWorks in 1994. Sai has logged over 15 years of experience in VLSI design, many of them at ServerWorks, where he served as Vice President of Technology and was responsible for all of that company's North Bridge products.

Sai received a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, India and a Masters Degree in Electrical Engineering from University Of Texas, El Paso.
