NetClient: Single-chip Solution for Multimedia Clients
ServerEngines NetClient is a single-chip solution for multimedia clients enabling next generation multimedia thin clients, digital signage nodes, display walls, kiosks and point-of-sale terminals. NetClient integrates business-class 2D/3D graphics, hardware and DSP-based multimedia CODECs, Gigabit Ethernet MAC and security engines. NetClient's HexCore™ architecture maps graphics, multimedia and network processing on to six processing engines, offering excellent isolation and performance for applications that requires concurrent high resolution graphics and multimedia performance, delivered locally or over a network. The high level of integration in NetClient dramatically reduces power consumption, minimizes the number of external components allowing NetClient to be integrated in to display monitors, LCD panels and televisions.
